The Washington D.C. chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO-DC) invites you to dive into a conversation on The Future of Smart Cities: Design, Manufacture, and Drive…in just an Hour with David Woessner, General Manager of Local Motors in Detroit and Washington D.C.
Learn how innovation in autonomous vehicles is public transportationgame-changer. As a special extra, we’ll get a tour of the facility.
Mr. Woessner is an expert on the topics of emerging technologies and localization, whose current focus is working with local stakeholders to develop and build a full micro-factory in the D.C. region to produce locally relevant vehicles.
Mr. Woessner is also working to establish Local Motors’ presence and an associated Micro-factory in the Motor City, while helping usher in a new industrial age of vehicle innovation and technology. He’s a trusted leader in the automotive industrywho haswritten on mobility, connectivity, and automotive technology hubs.
