STEPHEN J. EUELL, Accountant

Stephen St. John Euell is a native Washingtonian, as were five generations of Euells before him. He attended information systems schools in Marlow Heights, MD, where he studied computer programming and operations. Mr. Euell attended the Gardner School of Business, studying Accounting and then went on to Southeastern University where he majored in Business Administration. Mr. Euell has spent most of his career in the non-profit sector working for such organizations as the American Society for Public Administration, National Conference of State Legislatures and now COMTO. He has been a part of the COMTO family since November 2007.

 In his spare time, Mr. Euell enjoys photography and writing.

 

RAMONICA D.M. MOORE,  Director of Programs and Communications

Ramonica D. M. Moore is currently the Director of Programs and Communications for the Conference Of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO). In this capacity, Ms. Moore is responsible for all communications (e.g. website, newsletter, press releases) for the organization.  She oversees all programs, which include but are not limited to, annual National Meeting and Training Conference, Transportation Braintrust, Transportation Summit, etc.  She also serves as the program manager for COMTO's collaborative agreements, e.g. TCRP Ambassador program, FTA Civil Rights Training Workshops, Careers In Transportation for Youth (CITY) internship program and FTA International initiative.  When Ms. Moore first joined COMTO, she served as the Marketing Communications Specialist where she was responsible for assisting with the organization's marketing strategy and implementation of its brand.   

Prior to joining COMTO, Ms. Moore served as the Special Assistant for the Black Leadership Forum, Inc. (BLF), an alliance and clearinghouse for over thirty (30) Black civil rights and service organizations such as the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) and National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education (NAFEO). She completed her bachelor's in Philosophy, Religious Studies, International Studies and Women's Studies. At the Master's level, she studied English, Africana Studies, Non-profit Management and Community Development.

While in graduate school, Ms. Moore served in various capacities. As an instructor, she taught Composition I, Composition II and co-taught Introduction to the Black Experience. As a graduate teaching assistant, she assisted in courses such as Racism in American Society and Black Women in America. Ms. Moore also served as the coordinator of the African Heritage Studies Association's (AHSA) annual international conference held in Tampa, Florida in 2006, the graduate assistant for the Undergraduate Research Program and faculty advisor for the Black Student Union (BSU).

Ramonica Moore grew up in the world of the military, but calls North Dakota home. She is deeply committed to being a participant in making the world a more just and fairer place for all persons. She embraces the African proverb, "If you are not living on the edge...you're taking up too much room."

AMELIA J. SEATON, Chief of Staff

Amelia J. Seaton is the Chief of Staff (COS) for the Conference Of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO). As COS, Ms Seaton serves as primary support to the President & CEO, executive secretary to the board of directors and serves as staff liaison to the Executive, Legislative and Strategic Planning Committees; she also serves as staff liaison to the HUB Advisory and Presidents' Council. Ms. Seaton also assumes certain duties of the President & CEO in her absence.

Prior to her tenure with COMTO, Ms. Seaton served as the Executive Secretary to the President of the Sheltered Occupation Center of Northern Virginia (SOC), a sheltered workshop that enables persons with physical and mental disabilities to earn a living and lead productive and independent lives. While at SOC, she assisted the Director of Rehabilitation with the gathering and submission of data and information that enabled SOC to secure an $8 million grant from the Department of Rehabilitation in Virginia for the continued funding of the workshop programs.

Ms. Seaton is a graduate of the American International School, Vienna, Austria. She has lived in Germany, Korea, Malaysia, and Lebanon but calls Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania home.
