2017 Garrett A. Morgan Youth Symposium
COMTO’s Garrett A. Morgan Youth Symposium honors the legacy of famed African American inventor and entrepreneur Garrett A. Morgan, who revolutionized the transportation industry with the development of the traffic signal. His invention made traveling on roads and highways safe for automobile travelers around the world. Held in coordination with COMTO’s annual National Meeting and Training Conference, the Garrett A. Morgan Youth Symposium provides an opportunity for high school students to explore the many avenues of transportation and its impact on shaping the global community.

Open To: Rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, and 2016 high school graduates.
What: Interactive activities, lively discussions, transportation industry scavenger hunt, and more!
Cost: Lunch, snacks, and gifts will be provided. There is no cost to attend, but space is limited!
Registration is required for all participants. All participants under the age of 18 are required to upload a release form signed by a parent or guardian during registration. Registration must be submitted by TIME, DATE.
Please Note: Organizations may bring up to 6 students; 1 chaperone per 3 students is required. COMTO volunteers, staff, and chaperones will be in attendance at all time.
