The Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) awards a variety of scholarships to college students pursuing careers in the transportation industry.

COMTO's mission is to ensure opportunities and maximum participation in the transportation industry for minority individuals, businesses, and communities of color, through advocacy, information sharing, training, education, and professional development.

The National Scholarship Program is one way to ensure the continuing legacy of minorities in transportation. Selections are made annually by a team of industry professionals, as well as representatives from academia.
