TRB will conduct a webinar on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 2:00PM to 3:30PM ET that features research from theNational Cooperative Highway Research Program(NCHRP)’sReport 830: Multistate, Multi-modal, Oversize/Overweight Transportation.

This webinar features a procedural guide for identifying and accommodating the diverse permitting requirements for transporting oversize/overweight (OSOW) freight from one jurisdiction to another across the United States. The presenters will demonstrate how OSOW data may be used to identify OSOW corridors and make transportation investment decisions. Presenters will also provide examples of how to use this data.

This webinar is eligible for 1.5 Certification Maintenance Credits from the American Institute of Certified Planners.

The first 60 minutes of the webinar will be for presentations and the final 30 minutes will be reserved for audience questions. The Registered Continuing Education Program (RCEP) categorizes this webinar activity as relating to health, safety, and welfare including core technical.
